About Me

Thanks for stopping by! I’m a Registered Nurse hoping to be stay-at-home mom in the (near) future! I’m passionate about family life and children and have many interests! I’m hoping to be a jack of all trades and master of none…do people actually hope for that? But really, I’m interested in so much like photography, woodworking, outdoor adventures, homemaking, etc. and I want to do it all! I’ve got a wonderful husband and a sweet Golden Retriever calls me Mom! Hoping to add some human babies soon!

What to Expect

The original purpose of this blog was to keep family and friends up to date on everything that’s happening in this crazy, beautiful life of ours. However, due to our struggles with infertility it’s turned into a blog about our struggles with infertility and IVF. I hope this blog gives other couples suffering though infertility some hope, encouragement, honesty (when it’s not always good), and insight on what to expect if they’re in similar situations.

I’m breaking one of the “rules of being a successful blogger” because this blog is going to be all over the place! I’ll TRY to be funny and keep it light, but laughs are not guaranteed and some of the posts may be tearjerkers. I’m not a writer, I switch between tenses, and I probably use improper grammar and spelling at times. I’m not crafty and any cute/clever ideas I blog about were probably discovered on Pinterest or another blog first and recreated by me. It’s highly unlikely I’ll come up with anything new! Join me on my journey through infertility and life!

Don’t forget to “follow” my blog for the most recent updates and newest posts! There’s a link on the side 🙂 You can also follow me on Instagram @newellsletter
